THE MODE OF LIFE OF PCPA
The very name we bear as Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, gives our true identity and indicates our form of life. Our life within the cloister is mainly centered round the Holy Eucharist and dedicated to an uninterrupted day and night perpetual adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. By doing this we express in our lives that vision which first took form in the heart of Mother Mary of St.Clare Bouillevaux, who confined the Franciscan form of Gospel living with special dedication to Eucharistic Adoration in the spirit of thanksgiving. Led by the Holy Spirit and having been deeply moved by the Gospel story of the ungrateful lepers Mother Mary of St.Clare chose thanksgiving as the principal goal of the adoration. The PCPA made the Magnificant their favourite canticle. We recite it all the hours of the day and night. It is throught Mary that we hope to accomplish this great service of adoration which renders praise in rendering  thanksgiving. Faithful to this inspiration of our Foundress, we continually offer grateful praise,as we rejoice in the Lord's Eucharistic Presence.
Our Motto is: Thanks be to God through Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
